Being a Responsible Business
At Griddle we want to help take care of our planet. One of our biggest goals, which we are actively working towards, is to become a certified B-Corp. B-Corps use business as a force for good meaning they reach the highest environmental and social standards, and are held accountable for this. Pretty cool.

Nutritionally Smarter
Not only do we have a responsibility to our planet, but we also have one to you, our customers.
Trust is earned and we believe that the proof is in the pudding (or rather pancakes in our case). We only ever make products that we well and truly love, and which we eat regularly, with nutritional values backed by science of the upmost importance to us. We believe that education through food is one of the best ways we can set our future generations up for long, happy and healthy lives.
Because of this, the amount of sugar we put in our products is minimal and we also don't replace sugar with other sweeteners. Read more about our Sugar Policy (it's short and not so sweet)!
Production and Supply Chain
Sustainability isn't just a case of talking the talk, but also walking the walk. It is embedded in our core. We only ever work with trusted suppliers and manufacturers with the highest ethical standards. All of our ingredients and packaging supplies can be traced backed to the farmer or local processor. Wherever possible we prioritise local suppliers to reduce our supply chain's carbon footprint.
We have close relationships with our production facilities, all of whom we visit and communicate with on a regular basis. Our Pancake site is a family business run by an absolute boss business women, Karen. She also powers her site with 100% green energy.
Our supply chain is frozen and ambient, meaning food wastage is minimal, and we're also working with Too Good To Go to ensure stock nearing it's sell-by date doesn't get wasted either. You might have also seen us dipping our toes into the Frozen Category with our new plant-based toaster waffles. We are HUGE fans of frozen and really believe that it is the future. Packaging and Recycling
Our motto is to reduce, reuse, recycle and redesign. 90% of our packaging is recyclable and we are constantly on the lookout for new packaging innovations to help make this 100% recyclable.
As well as this 40% of the cardboard we use is made from recycled sources.
