Griddle was founded by friends and old flatmates (thank you very much Spareroom), Ella & Sophie.

Both big foodies and health and fitness enthusiasts, Griddle was born from a deep love of all things breakfast, paired with a huge dissatisfaction surrounding the products available in our supermarkets, finished off with a whole lot of craziness to try and do something about it.

We believe that it's time for a bakery that keeps up with modern times. A bakery that’s caring and confident enough to do things a little differently and reinvent the role bakery goods can play in our lives. By making bakery products that are better for you, with real, nourishing ingredients, packed with fibre and wholegrains, less sugar and none of the artificial junk so often found in supermarket bakery, we believe baked goods can be enjoyed by everyone, every day, as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Today, all our products can be found in the frozen aisle. Frozen bakery, I hear you say? We quickly learned that the freezer is nature’s way of keeping food fresh. It allows us to create our nutritious waffles from quality ingredients, without losing any of the goodness. No artificial colours, flavours or weird ingredients you can't pronounce. Our waffles will always taste as good as the day they were baked. No stale goods. No wastage. Only delicious baked goods on demand.

Alongside Ella & Sophie is an awesome team of waffle lovers, deadset on continuing to shake up the UK (and further afield's) aisles with better-for-you and better-for-planet bakery. Our products can be found in a number of mainstream retailers, but if your favourite retailer doesn't stock us, then harass them until they do (or send us a message and we'll try our best to sort it out).
